Steve Wozniak, Co-Founder Of Apple, Wants Bitcoin To Become The World Currency

Steve Wozniak, an admired individual in the world of tech, is very excited about Bitcoin and wants it to be the single world currency, but doesn’t necessarily believe that it is going to happen.

In a recent interview with CNBC, Steve Wozniak was questioned about Bitcoin, his own opinions and where he sees the digital currency going in the future. What Wozniak found very interesting about Bitcoin, is its ability to survive and keep on growing. He describes it almost as if Bitcoin is a part of nature that is beyond human actions.

When Wozniak bought his first couple of Bitcoin when its price was just around $600, he never intended to be an investor, he simply wanted to experiment with the technology. So when Wozniak suddenly saw the price of Bitcoin was at $7000, he sold all of his Bitcoin except 1. He also kept 2 Ether, in order to continue his experiments.

In the interview, Wozniak was asked about his opinion on the rest of the cryptocurrencies on the market, to which Wozniak made it very clear that Bitcoin is cryptocurrency which he views as true digital gold.

Earlier this year, Twitter CEO, Jack Dorsey said that he believes that Bitcoin will one day become the single world currency. Wozniak was asked if he shares a similar opinion, to which he answered that he doesn’t necessarily believe that it will happen, but he really wants it to, that would be so pure he added.
