How the mobile application industry has changed throughout the years
If you were using smartphones when they hit the market for the first time, you are sure to remember how the app store was back in the day. Back then, most if not all the games of high quality all cost money to download. There were often free lite versions of the apps, but if you wanted the full thing you had to pay a flat fee. This did, however, change over the years. Today, almost every popular game is free but comes with the ability to purchase things in the app. These kinds of games or apps are known as being freemium, which is now the most popular way to monetize apps. But it’s not always that easy to come up with a good way to monetize in-app content, that actually is valuable for users of the app. This is a huge problem for developers who have created a truly great game or app but isn’t rewarded accordingly, because they don’t know how to monetize the in-app content of their otherwise free app. This is where Krosscoin comes in, they are creating a platform purely for app monetization. Krosscoin allows developers to monetize as they describe it themselves, any functional component of any application running on any platform. This will allow developers to focus on improving the app itself, instead of using all their time trying to increase the monetization aspect of their product.

The use of blockchain technology and their own apps
Not only will Krosscoin make it way easier for developers to monetize their applications, but Krosscoin will also give developers more options when it comes to monetization by using blockchain technology. Developers no longer have to host their monetized aspects through a third party provider, they can simply use the power of blockchain. This solution also increases profit margins as a middleman that takes a huge percentage isn’t present. A lot of financial regulatory hurdles are also overcome by using cryptocurrencies to facilitate payments and rewards. Receiving payout instantly is even possible by using cryptocurrencies, the only thing that holds back actual instant payouts is the network confirmation time.
Besides from providing monetization services for developers, Krosscoin is also creating their very own apps. The first series of apps they plan to create is their Pipdroid series. These apps will be mobile applications to manage automatic trading solutions, all of which will be using Krosscoin’s very own monetization platform.
