Alex Ohanian, the Co-Founder of Reddit.com, had some very positive things to say about bitcoin and cryptocurrency in his latest appearance on The Late Show.
When cryptocurrencies are discussed in the media, they are usually either portrayed in a very negative light or as something that will change the entire world. One of the people who had a very positive approach towards cryptocurrency is the co-founder of Reddit, Alex Ohanian.
Alex Ohanian had earlier publicly expressed his excitement and belief in the world of cryptocurrency and blockchain. This made Alex a very known figure throughout the crypto community, which seems to have caused him to be asked about the very subject on national TV.
Recently, Alex Ohanian was on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, on which he was asked: “why cryptocurrency, why not currency, why not money”. To this question Alex answered, “it’s fuel for a potentially new internet”, and that Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies give the world an opportunity to have a store of value that is not backed by a single country.
